Spring fever

Yesterday, after I got out of the shower and got dressed I bent down to get a cutip out of the cabinet and decided that it was time to clean out the cabinets in the bathroom. After discarding all the expired medicines, old baby bath toys, and all sorts of miscellanous items that I hadn't seen since we moved into this house, I was left with an entire trash bag of garbage. But, I didn't stop there, then I decided to take advantage of this cleaning out mood and moved on to the two closets in the hallway, where I got rid of another half a trash bag of garbage. Then it was off to strip the beds. I started in Coles room, I took the sheet and pillow case off and went to get the dust buster and Lysol to clean under his matress and that's when it happened...Ryliegh had some sort of crisis. She saw the dust buster and completely freaked out! She was running around the house crying and wimpering trying to pick up ANYTHING that was on the floor. The poor girl was scared to death that I was going to suck up everything. She was throwing shoes and blankets and anything she could find on the floor onto the couch. I have never seen her like this. It took her a good 15 mintues to calm down and of course I couldn't finish vacuuming for fear her little heart was going to give out. Has anyone else experienced this with her? She was seriously having a panick attack! I felt so bad. Once she calmed down I went back to striping the rest of the beds and decided to clean out Ryleighs closet as well. After a garbage bag of clothes and a garbage bag of junk I was starting to loose interest in cleaning out anything else. So I started the laundry and laid down on the couch and took a nap. It was a good day!

Cole has a birthday party to go to today for one of the boys in his class. Which should be fun for him but I know Ryleigh is going to want to go too and will be upset that she can't. She loves her Coley!

I just checked the website for jurors and thank goodness they don't need any at this time...well at least not for tomarrow, but I have to check back everyday this week. What a pain in the buttusky!

I went to the doctors on friday because I have had a sore throat for a while now and it turns out I have strep ...yuck. I have never been sick for so long before, between having an ear infection one week loosing my voice another week and now having strep..what the heck is going on? I would like to feel healthy again sometime soon!

Just random stuff

I really don't have much to post about these days, but i feel like a slacker if I don't write something. Cole is better now, no more coughing or fever. But now I am sick, my throat is KILLING me and I have no voice. It hurts to just swallow, but i'm sure i'll get over it. I was supposed to see the surgeon today about my hernia but it is currently snowing and Mike took the truck to work so I guess I have to reschedule. Cole has a snow day today so i figure we will go outside later and maybe try some sleigh riding...definetly more fun then going to the doctor! I also received a jury summons the other day, what fun that will be. I am hoping I can get out of seems how I have no child care, I don't know if that excuse works now a days, but lets cross our fingers.
For those of you who really just want to hear about the kids, Ryleigh is currently running around the house in her Cinderella costume..tierra and all...singing " I am beautiful, I am beautiful, I am beautiful". The song is supposed to be "You are beautiful" but she has changed the lyrics to suit her needs. And Cole is playing his video games in his room...they are all educational (of course).
That's it for now...some one is supposed to be coming to look at the apartment for rent around 11 but i'm not sure if he coming out in the snow. And I know i'm not going up the driveway, which already has 3 inches of snow on it, in the Saturn to show it to him if he comes.

It's time to change the template

I am still tweeking it but this is the new look for now. I am done working for a while and it's kind of nice being home again. Florida was a good time..too bad it wasn't longer. I can't wait till the kids get a little older to bring them, they are going to have a blast when we go! Poor Cole is sick once again, the school nurse called today and asked that I pick him up. He has a fever and his throat and ears hurt. His cough still hasn't gone away so we went to the doctor and she thinks it's his sinuses so he's back on antibiotics. He should be better in a couple of days.

Glad to be back, it will be nice to read everyone's blogs again and actually be able to have time to comment.
