Better late than never

This is the only pic I got of the two of them together. If you look real close you can see money tucked into the belt part of Ryleighs dress.

Hello...Hello...Can some one get me out of this monkey suit please.

Bartender...pour me another.

Take me out to the ball game......

Yup you guessed it Cole is in little leauge!!! We are all very excited. He missed three games because I didn't think he was going to be able to play because of the age cut off. But, yesterday I decided it wouldn't hurt to ask so...I went down to the field asked the president of the baseball commission and she said yeah sure and he got to even play in a game last night. It was great! There are 2 other kids from his class on his team so it's alot of fun for him. I guess we will be at the baseball fields every monday and wednesday now. I feel like this is what I have been waiting for. Not that I wanted them to grow up too fast but to me this is the exciting stuff. I am so proud of him!

Shiner

Ryleigh has her first shiner. I wish I could say the other guy looks worse but, she didn't even make a dent in the deck stairs. I can say that she did have a little help getting this black eye from her brother, but it wasn't intentional. They were riding their bikes on the deck and came head to head when she backed up she got a little too close to the stairs and when Cole went by his training wheels pushed her bike off the deck and down she went landing on her face. OUCH!!! She sucked it up pretty good though. This morning we went to Home Depot for a childrens workshop and I was sure someone would say something about it but no one did. I am sure they were all thinking what an abusive mom I am though. The Home Depot thing was pretty neat though...they made these planters for free..of course then you have to go buy flowers to put in them. I think we will paint them white and put them outside. Next month they are making tool boxes. Cole really wants to make a bird house so I might go buy a kit some where so he can make one.

That's all for now, I am going to Applebees for dinner for Ange, Sara and Nikki's birthdays...should be good. Oh yeah and I cut my hair, what do you think? I love it.

And isn't it ironic?

Everyone knows that song for Alanis Morrisett, right? Soooo.... I went on friday to pick up the tickets for the Martina concert and when Mike got home we went online to look up where our seats would be. Well they ended up being up in the nose bleed section of the Pepsi Arena. "Oh well" I thought...they were free so who cares? I find a sitter and we get ready and leave. When we there we go straight (up nine billion stairs) to our seats and are discussing wether or not we should grab something to eat and a gentleman walks up the stairs looking around like he is lost. He stops by the girl next to us if she would like to sit on the floor section and whips out four tickets. He says "is it just four of you in your group?" At this point I speak up and say "YES, there are four of us" knowing that it was just the girl and her mom, who actually wasn't sitting there at the time. The girl looks over at us and says"ummm yeah it's the four of us". He hands us the tickets and we are unbelievable excited!!! The girl explains to us that her mom had just left crying hysterically because she is afraid of heights (not good when sitting in the rafters to watch a show!) so she was going to be a very happy woman when she found out she was going to be on the floor. We walk allllllllll the way down to the floor section and of course they have all sorts of rent a cops....I mean security guards there checking to make sure you have a ticket to be in that section. The woman waves us through and we start heading to what we thought was our section. We get to the seats and there are people sitting in them so Mike asks them if they are in the right seats and instantaniously a rent a cop..security guard.. comes over to check everything out. He looks at our tickets and the lady's tickets then looks at us and says "your not sitting here your in the front row center stage" WHAT??? FRONT ROW CENTER STAGE??? Holy crap.... I think I almost peed in my pants at that moment from the excitement. Mike and I just kept looking at each other and laughing because it was just unbelievable. As we are sitting in our front row center stage seats Mike asks "did you bring the camera"? Now here is the ironic part....NO I DIDN'T. Smart me figures we are going to be so far away that any pictures I take of Martina will make her look look like an ant. And the zoom on my camera isn't that great so she would have looked like a blurry ant at that. I was soooooo pissed at myself. But the concert was awesome and I am glad we got to sit practically on her lap. BTW I will be calling Nextel today to get a camera phone!!!
