The basement in progress

With a new ceiling (sp?) and new floor it is going to look real nice.
The molding is really nice and it will look great with some high hat lights shining on it.

Amazzzzzzing

It's been done. Michael has finally moved down stairs with his computer. Thank Goodness! Can I tell you how much better I sleep at night without the sounds of gun shots and grown men yelling profanities at eachother? Just silence now, with the occasional murmur of his voice saying something garbled that I can't even barely make out. I actually wake up in the morning not feeling as tired, it is soooo nice! However I do find it funny that after three years of our basement waiting to be finished it only took three days of him being down there for him to decide it was time to finish it. It is going to look so nice when it's done. I'll have to post pics later of the progress.
I went to a Mary Kay party last night at my friend Katie's house and it was a lot of fun so I booked a party. That was your official notice, you all will be getting an invitation in the mail soon!
I had a terrible dream last night that my sister Sara was murdered in my house. I was told if you dream of death, that someone else you know is pregnant. I hope this is true! Otherwise it was just a very sad nightmare!
I won Duran Duran tickets on the radio this morning...does any one know them? I have heard of them I just can't think of any of their songs that I would know. I was hoping it was going to be Red Hot Chilli Pepper tickets.
Ms. Hazel was spayed on friday, so no Lhasa Apso puppies. She seemed so depressed when I brought her home saturday morning, but as soon as I took her cone head collar off she was right back to normal. Appearantly, vets don't care about the cosmetic part of sewing a puppy back up. It looks like they hacked her open with a serrated knife and then just tied a twist tie around the incision and said let's call it a day, here's the bill. I did have her microchipped, so all of you who thought of stealing her better back off!
I am done babbeling...peace out

Good weekend

What a nice weekend I had. On friday night I went to the Outback for some awesome steak with my girlfriends. Where my friend Shannon let everyone know that she is 7 weeks pregnant :) . It is a planned pregnancy, this will be her 2nd child, she is VERY excited and is kinda hoping for a boy this time. After dinner I stayed at Kristina's house for a little while and just held her 3 week old son. That's about the only time I want another one...when they are sleeping. Then saturday mom, Ange and I headed to Oneonta to watch a play that Nikki was on the crew for. I was little worried because that morning I woke up feeling like I wanted to murder someone for no appearant reason, but thank goodness that mood passed. The play was really good (that is after the first scene). Sorry Nik, but I wasn't sure I was going to be able to sit through the whole thing if it dragged on like that first scene. It got soooo much better...especially the end. Then on Sunday I stayed in my pajamas all day and read a book, it's been a while scince I have gotten to read. That's about it, all in all it was a good weekend. Tonight I am headed to the auction to get Mike a desk, rug and a heater so I can evict him out of the dining room and move his butt to the basement. I hope I get them for cheap!!! Either way he is moving ;) love ya honey!!!!hehehe

Here is a very short clip of Cole playing soccer. If you can't tell, he is the orange #35 who gets clobbered by his own team mate (ya gatta love kindergarten soccer). With a little bit of guidence he will be a very good soccer player. I hope he gets to play again in the spring.

Busy Bee

I'm not slacking...i'm just busy and stuff. We evicted one of our tenants so my entire week has consisted of cleaning and painting. These people were DISGUSTING!! I am pretty sure they were either allergic to cleaning supplies or they must have never heard of them. I had to use a scraper to get the gungk off of a winowsill. I am pretty sure they never opened a window because they are all covered in spiderwebs and nastyness. The good news is that it is already rented. One of our other tenants granddaughter and fiance want it. So as soon as we can get it ready it is all theirs.
On another note, Cole is playing soccer and he loves it. I wasn't able to make it to the practice yesterday because I was waiting for the appliance people to come pick up our old appliances. But when I did get there I saw him make a goal! The "coach" says he plays very well. He only has two more practices and they are done for the season. I need to get batteries for my camera so I can take a video of him playing. He only has a half day of school today and then a dentist appointment and then Tae Kwon Do tonight...run run run. I am going to look into getting Ryleigh into a dance class soon. She needs a little more stimulation during the day, I hope she gets into preschool in January. Keep your fingers crossed!
Ok I have laundry to do so Peace Out.

Oh yeah, I also started a family blog last night for my moms side of the family. It's called Dysfunctional Donatos.....and if that isn't the truth I don't know what is!?!?!?!
