1st trip to Queechy this year

Mostly just day to day stuff going on here too. I did just join the playground commitee at our school. We are in serious need of new equipment and we need to do some serious fundraising. If anyone has good fundraising ideas please let me know. We do have a bunch of things planned but I will take any advice!

Mike has been traveling a fair amount for work. He just got back from Kentucky and is leaving on friday for Texas. He is trying to get his company, Keating Controls, up and running so that he can quit Owens Corning. The only down fall to his business is the travel, but it's worth it in the end. We are thinking of getting a dog for protection while he is gone, but we don't agree on the breed. I want a pit bull and he doesn't. He just can't let go of the stereo type.

The kids are good, they are busy too. Mondays is little league, Tuesdays is Dance, Wednesday is little league again, Thursday is soccer and Friday is Tae Kwon Do. Sometimes I think working only three days a week is too much. I need to quit just to keep up with their schedule, hehe. Ryleigh's recital is coming up soon, June 2nd at 5:30pm to be exact. Tickets are $9 if anyone is interested in coming. Let me know because seating is limited and the tickets go on sale May 16th.

I am excited for summer to get here, I can't wait to be able to go sit on the beach at Queechy Lake again. The kids had me buy a whole bunch of seeds so the can grow a garden this year. We are just waiting for the last frost so we can plant them. Thank goodness Ange lives close, because I am gardening challenged! I'll let you know how it goes.
