Christmas

Well I went to load the pictures I took from Christmas morning and realized when I saw them that the kids opened their presents in their underware so I won't be posting them on here. Sorry, too many psychos out there! I do however have a few with them having clothes on.

This was by far the funnest Christmas yet! The kids are at the perfect age for this holiday. They were super excited and they were sooo good that day. I was sure we were going to encounter a melt down or two, but they were great!

We aren't doing much for New Year's eve. My sister and nephew are coming over and we are going to play games and get drunk (my sister and I that is). Your all welcome to come! The more the merrier. We told the kids that they could stay up as late as they want so I expect them to be asleep by 10pm. I will probably follow suit shortly after them. I can't remember the last time I actually saw the ball drop.

Alright here's some pics:

This could have ended very badly

But she did good.

Movin' on up

It's been a while since I actually wrote anything, so I guess I can spare a few words. On monday I start my new position as assitant manager in my company. I have worked at this doctors office for 8 1/2 years and think it's about time. We have 12 doctors, 3 midlevels and about 70 employees. I have a nice repor with 10 of the doctors, seeming I have worked in all of their offices at one time or another. Two of the doctors are new and I have not met them yet, but I don't fore see a problem there. Everyone of the doctors has their own quirks, so you really just have to take them with a grain of salt and move on. I will be working three days a week now and I am extremely excited about this move (the pay is pretty good too)!

I took Ryleigh ice skating on wednesday.....she didn't like it at all!!! We went around the rink once and she was done. Which is kinda of funny seems how half way around the rink she decided to get on the orange cone she was using for balance, and had me push her the rest of the way. Then on thursday we went to see Happy Feet and I can tell you the first half of the movie is really cute but we didn't see the other half. She decided she was hungry so we had to leave so she could eat. I would really like to see the other half of the movie!

I am thinking of driving Cole to and from school. Some little snot on his bus told him that Santa isn't real and has also taught him to stick up his middle finger. I'm tellin' ya if I get ahold of this brat I am going to beat him down!! Cole and I just made light of the Santa thing saying that the kid is just being silly and that there really is a Santa. And we had a talk about the middle finger thing, but I don't even want to know what is next. My 5 year old doesn't need to know all of the facts of life at this point. Stupid kids!!! Why can't they all just be as good as mine?LOL

Speaking of kids, mine are at Nana and Poppys. They spent the night last night. Maybe if I can get Mike out of bed we could start our christmas shopping. Ha Ha. I really don't want to think about it yet. It is nice that we decided that this year we are only doing the kids in the family (no more brother and sisers), but I just know we are going to spend all this money and my kids will play with the toys for ten minutes and be done with them. It really is depressing. I am seriously thinking of just going to an appliance store and asking for some really big boxes and just put a bow on them and be done with it. They usually get more joy out of playing with the boxes anyway.

Ok, that's all the words I can spare today. See ya.
